Travel Insurance Products Available:
Emergency Hospital and Medical Coverage provides coverage for expense incurred by Visitors to Canada. It pays up to the sum insured for reasonable and necessary expenses of unexpected injury or sickness incurred by an insured person while staying in Canada. Accidental Death and Disablement (A.D.&D.) insurance pays for accidental loss of the Insured's life, or accidental loss of an Insured's limb or sight from accidental injury up to the sum insured as indicated on the Declaration Form occurring during the period of coverage.
Air Flight Accident insurance pays for loss of life, limb or sight of a ticketed passenger while in, boarding, or alighting from an aircraft of a regularly scheduled airline, or while a passenger of an airport limousine, bus or surface vehicle provided and arranged by the airline at the airport for the purpose of boarding or alighting an aircraft. Trip Cancellation and Interruption insurance plans pay up to the sum insured for certain risks which may occur prior to or after departure of the insured trip.
Emergency excess hospital and medical expense pays up to $2 million for reasonable and necessary expenses of unexpected sickness or injury incurred by an insured Canadian resident while on a trip outside the insured person's province or territory of residence. Canadian residents without a provincial or territorial health/medical plan can be insured up to $3,000. Baggage insurance pays for loss or damage to baggage or personal effects and injury of an accompanying cat or dog. Rental Car Insurance pays for damage or loss of an automobile rented from a commercial rental agency. Pre-Existing Condition Coverage is a medically underwritten plan which provides insurance coverage to travelers of all ages who have pre-existing conditions or have received treatment or medication in the recent past. The plan covers disclosed health conditions and is a competitive travel insurance option for Snowbirds. In some cases, a medical questionnaire may be required.
International Student Plans provide coverage for international students studying in Canada who wish to purchase insurance. This plan protects students not eligible for provincial government health insurance coverage.
